How It Works
- Consignors receive 40% of item(s) selling, Artists need to contact store for fee’s.
- There will be a one-time charge of $10.00 to register as a new consignor that will be deducted from the commission until paid in full. This fee covers our set-up costs, processing, tags, hangers, etc. A $5.00 fee will be charged to your account twice a year: Once in March and again in September, each new calendar year you can have up to 50 items and then your account will be deducted .10 per item for each item over the 50 items.
- As a consignor, you have the option to view your account balance online which is included in your fees. For an additional $5.00 fee per year, you can get a detailed listing of item(s), break-down of commission per item(s), and when the item(s) sold to view on your on-line account.
- Your item(s) will be professionally displayed on the sales floor for 60 days then the item(s) will be moved to a clearance rack. Merchant reserves the right to reduce items at anytime.
- Any unsold items not claimed at the end of consignment, or if you have no further use for them, will be donated to charity. If you would like the tax donation you will need to pick up and deliver your unsold items to the charity of your choice.
- We accept items on a daily basis while you wait. After reviewing your item(s) the item(s) we do accept will have a contract written and signed between both parties. The unaccepted item(s) will be set aside for you to take back or the item(s) can be donated with your permission. Please save yourself and us time by pre-screening your clothing and other items for stains or excessive wear. We accept items for the current season only (see Seasonal Schedule). Merchandise will be reduced in price after approximately 30 days. If the merchandise has not sold after 90 days it will be removed from the sales floor and held for the consignor to pick up. If not claimed after one week it will become the property of Fleur de Leigh’s to be disposed of as they see fit including donations to local charitable organizations. All items are subject to markdowns and/or seasonal clearance sales at the discretion of management. The consignment split will be on the final selling price.
- Management will set pricing. Large/expensive item(s) and/or art can be negotiated between Fleur de Leigh’s and the consignor when the item(s) are brought in to the store. Once the item(s) are placed on the sales floor the sale price will remain at Management’s pricing.
- Fleur de Leigh’s is not responsible for loss of consigned articles through fire, theft, vandalism or natural disaster.
“Please do not be offended when we do not accept some items for consignment. Merchandise selection is based on quality, demand, and current inventory.”
